The
Democrats are trying to scare the senior citizen into
believing that the Republicans are going to cut their Social
Security. The Democrats are trying to scare women that
Republicans want to take away their right to choose. |
| |
|
John Kerry is weak on Defense. A vote for
john Kerry is a vote for the terrorist. John Kerry voted to
cut defense spending. John Kerry voted to cut intelligence
spending. John Kerry voted against every major weapons
system used by the U.S. military today. |
| |
|
George Bush is fighting terror by invading
Iraq. George Bush is winning the war on terrorism. George
Bush will protect us from the terrorist threat.

What do all of the statements you just read
have in common? They are all false, and they are all being
said by Republicans. The Bush Administration is trying to
scare the pubic into voting for them. They are running one
misleading attack ad after another. The only way they can
win this November is to paint John Kerry as weak.
|

|
What else
can they do? Are they going to run on their accomplishments?
Can they run on their economic record? That wouldn’t be a
good idea. Can they run on their environmental record? Well
I don’t think they want to use that one. Can they run on
their honesty, how they told us the truth on why we should
invade Iraq? Well that one won’t go very far. Can they use
the fact they took a budget surplus and turned it into the
largest deficit in history, while giving huge tax cuts to
the rich? Nope they better not use that either. |
| |
|
If you
can’t run on your record, then all you can do is run
millions of dollars worth of ads, which are full of lies or
distortions, with the hope of scaring the public. A campaign
of fear is the only thing Bush has. I wouldn’t have a
problem with that, except that Bush’s campaign is biased on
lies. |
