Report: U.S. Short on Bio-terror Resources

Is the Bush Administration doing a good job on the war on terrorism?

If you read my editorial “What does the flue vaccine shortage say about the war on terrorism?” Then you would know that this report backs up what I concluded about the administrations ability to respond to a bio-attack.

The report concluded that only three states reported that they are at the optimal level of preparedness for a biological attack, based on a three-point scale established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Four states reported that they were at the bottom of the scale, and six states had not been rated. Read the whole story
